Tahona Mercado is your neighborhood mezcal‑specialty bottle shop and mercado, now open in the Parco mixed‑use complex at 802 B Ave, National City, CA.We’re a small but vibrant retail and tasting destination, blending our passion for Mexican culture with a carefully curated collection of mezcals, tequilas, raicilla, bacanora, and other craft agave spirits.

Our mission is to celebrate the complexity and beauty of Mexican agave spirits, offering a boutique shopping experience that feels like a cozy living room. Guests can browse rare bottles, enjoy tastings, savor artisanal Mexican snacks, and join educational events led by producers and master distillers.

Mezcal has a long standing tradition of being produced by mezcaleros to be enjoyed in their communities surrounded by friends and family. We created the Mezcal Society for that very reason. It is our hope that through this group, that not only you gain a greater understanding of what makes mezcal so especial but that you will be an active member of our community. We will provide you with insider access into a society built by traditions and opportunities to connect, learn and participate!
